This is a US based position, ideally in Florida, but other big cities considered (e.g., Austin, Detroit, Chicago)
The Director/VP Sales leads and oversees the development and growth of profitable new business and develops and maintains effective key relationships. This position will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities into profitable sales. Position directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall policies and goals for the business development function, identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. Works with customer service, operations, marketing and/or Executive Team to align with the company's growth strategy. This position will also ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.
The Director/VP, Sales reports to the CEO and is an organizational leader expected to also have Account Management responsibilities to keep customers satisfied with the services sold and continue to develop long term relationships.

The ideal candidate has solid Sales and Marketing experience in the Software Nearshore industry, selling Agile custom software development services with teams in US and LATAM, has proven record of relationship building skills and interaction with C-level executives of large Fortune 500 companies. Someone experienced with large companies that wants to be part of a fast growing Inc5000 company and grow a sales team over time to continue to scale sustainably.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Education and/or experience:
Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in business development, sales and or marketing
Knowledge of IT Software Services Industry, and solid experience communicating to C-level executives
Minimum 4 years leading sales/business development teams with proven results
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
Demonstrated track record of business development results in the IT services Industry
Ability to lead, manage and develop sales/business development teams
Strong business and project management skills, creativity and ingenuity in developing successful strategies, and demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
Advanced organization, prioritization and time management skills
Knowledge of business and management principles
Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing strategies principles and practices
Advanced knowledge of CRMs such as Salesforce or Dynamics
Strong analytical skills and mathematical ability
Advanced communicator with effective relationship building skills
Intermediate or higher computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office suite
Knowledge of the IT outsourcing industry and related industry key players, vendors and people
Ability to develop and write high quality business and sales proposals
Ability to manage the work of direct reports and those in other department to achieve goals
Negotiating and influencing skills
Travel: Position will be required to travel approximately 30-40%.
