Your Role as AI Solution Architect
As an AI Solution Architect, you will be a critical part of MAS Global’s Data & AI practices, driving innovation and positioning our Data and AI offerings with clients. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to engage clients, understand their business needs, and articulate AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value. This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, curiosity for AI’s rapid advancements, and the ability to connect technology to business outcomes. You will contribute to presales activities, craft winning proposals, lead scoping and discovery sessions, define AI architectures, and guide technical teams during the initial phases of engagements.
What You’ll Do
Client Engagement and Solution Positioning
- Partner with sales teams to engage clients and position MAS Global’s AI and Data solutions as strategic enablers of business outcomes.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, identify AI opportunities, and present innovative, tailored solutions.
- Lead and facilitate discovery workshops, proof-of-concept sessions, and technical demonstrations to align solutions with client needs.
- Articulate complex AI and data concepts in clear, business-relevant language that resonates with client stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence to be able to communicate complex technical ideas to a non technical audience.
Presales and Proposal Development
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to define scopes, proposals, and statements of work (SOWs) that set clear expectations and success metrics.
- Develop detailed AI solution architectures and actionable implementation plans that align with client goals and technical feasibility.
- Support proposal creation by providing technical input, creating solution diagrams, and estimating resource needs and timelines.
- Assist in positioning MAS Global’s differentiators, ensuring technical credibility and alignment with client requirements.
- Orchestrate with AI SMEs to design scalable, high-performing AI and data architectures that meet business and technical objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams during the early stages of AI projects, ensuring alignment with solution architecture.
- Collaborate with the CTO and delivery teams to define best practices, tools, and methodologies for Data and AI projects.
- Actively contribute to the continuous evolution of MAS Global’s AI offerings by staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for AI and its rapid developments, continually learning and sharing insights on new tools, frameworks, and use cases.
- Design and deliver AI-focused training as part of MAS Academy to upskill teams and foster a learning culture internally and externally.
- Explore innovative AI applications that drive business value for clients and expand MAS Global’s portfolio.
- Mentor technical teams on AI trends and advancements to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment
- Report to the CTO while working closely with sales, delivery, and client-facing teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and business objectives.
- Serve as the key bridge between technical delivery and client requirements, ensuring proposals and solutions are executable.
- Provide critical feedback to sales teams on solution feasibility, aligning client expectations with delivery capabilities.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, including at least 3-4 years specifically focused on AI, Data, and related technologies, with proven experience with real world AI applications, including POCs and projects deployed to production.
- Previous experience in presales, solution engineering, or technical sales support roles.
- Proven ability to design and implement AI architectures and solutions that address real-world business challenges.
- Strong understanding of AI tools, frameworks, and technologies such as machine learning models, NLP, generative AI, data pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience participating in client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes, providing clients with clear value propositions.
- Strong technical executive presence to be able to engage Senior Stakeholders across MAS portfolio.
- Experience supporting proposal development, including scoping, estimations, and defining SOWs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore emerging AI technologies and industry trends.
- Advanced English proficiency; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Location and Travel
Ideal cities: Medellín, Colombia (preferred) or other main cities in LATAM. Flexible hybrid arrangement, with travel (25-50%) to client sites, Tampa, FL, or Medellín, Colombia.
