You are a detail-oriented QA Functional Tester with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You thrive in collaborative, agile environments and are comfortable working closely with product managers, developers, and analysts. You have excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to identify and document defects clearly and effectively.
Core Responsibilities
You will:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to fully understand project requirements and functional specifications.
- Create comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and execute functional and regression test scenarios for Java-based software components.
- Perform manual testing, identify defects, and document issues with clear, reproducible steps.
- Work closely with development teams to support defect resolution and validate fixes.
- Conduct performance and scalability testing to ensure the application meets required performance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and best practices.
- Provide feedback and insights throughout the software development lifecycle to improve product quality.
What You Bring
You have:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Functional Tester.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect tracking.
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
- ISTQB or similar certifications (nice to have).
- Experience with automation tools (nice to have).
- Advanced English level (B2 or above).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality results.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
