At MAS Global Consulting, we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Functional QA Engineer to join our quality team. In this role, you will focus on validating business requirements, user workflows, and system behaviors through manual and exploratory testing.

You will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that software solutions meet functional expectations and deliver value to the end user.

 Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to design comprehensive test scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory tests across web-based systems.
• Validate integrations between front-end (Angular) and back-end (.NET) services.
• Document and report issues clearly, providing detailed reproduction steps and impact assessment.
• Participate in requirement grooming and sprint planning to contribute with a quality-first perspective.
• Collaborate with development and QA automation teams to ensure full coverage and alignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in functional and manual testing.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Ability to validate web UIs and business logic using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar for API checks.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to spot inconsistencies, and a passion for improving the user experience.
• English proficiency (written and spoken) for working in international teams.
• High sense of ownership, proactivity, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of automation testing principles and when to escalate to automation teams.
• Exposure to testing enterprise-grade platforms, workflows, or business process management tools.
• Familiarity with accessibility, usability, or compliance testing.
