End Client / type of project: Team member will be part of a large enterprise level project developing a global web based application for thousands of users. Project is using Agile/ scrum methodology, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). There are multiple (15+) scrum teams developing in 2 main technologies: .NET & SFDC. End Customer is a Fortune 500 global technology and industrial company with presence in more than 150 countries.
Role description: Performance application monitor and testing using Application Insights, Visual Studio web performance and load testing tools, Azure DevOps, Agile-Scrum/Safe methodology, working on Large Scale Web-based applications for large multinational multi-industrial customer. This role is ideal for a strong .NET Developer or Hands-on Technical Architect that has strong experience with web-based applications a QA and performance mindset in important as well as be used to be part of nearshore practice working on project-based efforts for customers in English speaking countries and ideally using Agile methodologies. Excellent English Skills both written & spoken
Experience with C#, ASP.Net Web API, Application Insgiths
Experience with Load Testing tools (ex: jMetter)
Ability to mentor other team members on best practices
Hands on experience with Design patterns
Is a strong advocate for unit testing, code reviews, performance, and other software development best practices.
Experience with overall Software Development Lifecycle including test/release cycles
Experience working in SCRUM or SAFe Agile Methodologies
Ability to work with little supervision and deliver on team commitments
Familiar with Azure DevOps
Work closely with Technical Leads to help them monitor the performance of their applications.
Design and build Load Test in collaboration with technical leads.
Work with team to determine best technical approach to meet business goals aligned with program architecture
Build reports that monitor the application performance.
Work with Infrastructure / DevOps & Architecture team to improving processes and resolving issues when they arise
Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, SMEs & team to help teams meet program wide goals.
Assist team members with troubleshooting and issue resolution
Perform Code Reviews
Define and enforce software engineering best practices
Proficient in the use of a major ALM system, TFS or comparable
Nice to have:
Microsoft Certifications e.g., MCSD, MCAD
Past Experience with Engineering or Manufacturing Domain
