SFDC Solution/Technical Architect

Job Summary

The SDFC Architect is a hands-on expert role with ability to advise senior leadership on Architecture decisions, as well as guide teams to implement them.  This role is for someone that has been part of multiple SFDC end to end implementations, that understands the Architecture and best practices, and that is willing to be hands-on and troubleshoot issues as needed.  This is a hybrid between a Solution Architect able to work on solving business problems and articulating options, as well as driving technical implementation of those solutions, as a leader and as a hands-on team member.

Program:  This role is for a large enterprise level program involving a series of projects creating a modern Web Platform for a global user base.  There are 20+ scrum teams using Agile / SAFe - Scaled Agile methodology, and primarily Microsoft stack as well as SFDC.  

End Customer: Fortune 500 corporation, multi-national, multi-industrial, with presence in over 150 countries.  This is a high visibility / complex  project with high executive support, previous successful releases, and lots of opportunities to learn, work with a very talented team and make a significant impact to the business.    

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and implement end-to-end SFDC solutions 
  • Propose solutions to business problems taking into account best practices and scalability
  • Work with other teams that use and integrate with SFDC to align solutions and ensure end to end solutions meet client needs
  • Advise on customizations needed and out of the box functionality that could meet the needs
  • Able to get a deep understanding on an ongoing implementation and work with leadership and technical teams to enhance it, support it, and add capabilities as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Solid architectural concepts 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Very good communication skills, both at executive and team levels
  • Experienced with SFDC implementations for large multinational companies with complex requirements and a multi-platform architecture
